Steel Beasts has huge maps with mutiple Vehicles with interior fully modeled, Artillery, CAS, Supply system, you can even control infantary with LMGs and Javelins (Javeling is full simulated) or command them like a RTS game (close to combat mission series), you can play squad level missions wich you control 1 unit with "wingmans", platoon with a small group or even up to Battalion level, plan a entire operation with +30 units sending scouts, creating supply routes and much more just like a real life operation. Steel Beasts from a long shot, GHPC is just War Thunder but Sim-Lite (isnt a sim but isnt too arcade) If you're considering sinking $115 into a tank sim, you can probably afford another $30 for what is shaping up to be a very good tank game.Įither way though. Speaking of price, this really seems like apples and oranges. Not that I find myself using the SB interior views much either. Oh, and it's worth mentioning that the GHPC devs have said they have no intention to model vehicle interiors. But once it is, and given the pricing, I'm sure I'll be playing a bunch of GHPC with my friends (who will shell out for GHPC, but not SB Pro). For me, personally, it will mostly sit on the shelf until MP is added, an item that is pretty much dead last on their current roadmap. Parts of it seem to be very realistic, but at the end of the day, it's meant to be a fun game, not a training tool. GHPC is a lot friendlier, both with regards to interface and visuals. It's not necessarily user friendly, or very pretty, but what else do you expect give it's serious military simulator roots? SB offers multiplayer, which is the big draw for me. But I've played both, though not extensively. Well, I'd probably suggest first that you don't trust a bunch of wanna be flyboys like all of us.
